Amity University, Rajasthan (AUR) has been established by the Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur Act, 2008.of Govt. of Rajasthan and is recognized as per sec. 2 f of the UGC Act.
About Us
At Amity University Rajasthan, emphasis is laid on developing competence among students through acquisition of specialized knowledge and skills, Innovative technology, eminent academicians and a sophisticated infrastructure are some of the hallmarks of the institution. The faculty here comprises of a dedicated and experienced team of specialists and professionals, each excelling in their respective area of specialisation. Eminent experts from the industry and other reputed institutions are invited to visit Amity University Rajasthan as visiting faculty or distinguished guests to interact with the students and supplement faculty inputs. The learning activities at Amity are focused at developing students to become leaders and professionals with multidimensional skills. It has been our constant endeavor to equip our students with the latest developments in the field of management and enable them to understand the changing market scenario.
Industry interaction
Regular industry interaction form a very important part of the academic curriculum as it helps the students not only get industrial exposure also a chance to understand the global business practices. Industry leaders, top professionals, entrepreneurs, policymakers and global gurus are invited to share their wisdom, insight and experiences thereby facilitating practical learning. Such interaction helps students greatly in career development, developing leadership qualities & management skills and making them aware of actual industry functioning. Industry interaction also helps in updating the curriculum as and when changes occur in technology while teaching faculty get sensitised to the latest trends followed by the industry.
Classroom - The spacious, amphitheater style & air-conditioned classrooms provide the
most conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused learning. They have been designed to bring together analysis with action and are augmented with integrated audio-visual teaching aids for lectures, presentations etc.
Library - The libraries at Amity are stocked with over 1.25 lakh books, periodicals and references with over 17,000 online journals. It is more like integrated Knowledge Resource Centre that is stocked with many books, national as well as international journals, periodicals and CD-ROMs that support all aspects of management studies & research. The study material at ABS helps the students get an in-depth knowledge of all topics taught in class. The library is fully automated which lets the students access books related to the topics they are searching for, through a well-maintained and systematic database.
Auditorium - Amity University Rajasthan has state-of-the-art auditorium with a seating capacity of over 600 persons. They act as a common ground for students, faculty, and corporate personalities for regular interfaces, conferences and other events. At these
platforms, students can come across various global thought leaders, academic gurus, corporate heads, sharing their corporate experiences with them.
Techno-Savvy Campus - Amity University Rajasthan has always been in the forefront of utilization of IT and to leverage the power of IT in making learning informative and entertaining. The entire campus is connected through Local Area Network which includes library and the hostels. There is 24-hour wireless Internet connectivity with data transfer speed of 2 Mbps. Online UPSs are installed for uninterrupted power supply in each lab.
Residential Accommodation - Amity University Rajasthan offers comprehensive hostel
facilities for 3,100 students within the University campus. Caring wardens and a tight security ensures a pleasant stay allowing students to focus on academics. Rooms are equipped with Internet facilities to aid students with their class work.
Sports Facilities - At Amity University Rajasthan, sports form one of the important aspects of a student's development. Through its excellent sports facilities, Amity offers opportunities to students for regular work-out, lifestyle management and interaction. It provides a variety of sports facilities for games like cricket, football, basket ball, golf, horse riding and volley ball as well as indoor games like chess, carom, billiards, snooker, pool table and table tennis. There is also a full equipped Gymnasium to enhance the fitness levels.
Security - The campus has strict security through smart cards, biometric readers, latest IP cameras, fire warning systems, 24-hour guards and patrolling vehicles.
Foreign Languages - Amity provides an international perspective to the students through the various language programmes. The foreign language course has been integrated into the curriculum. The students have choice to select one of the foreign languages among French and German.
